Promoting public health in Wisconsin classrooms

Founded in 2007, the Healthy Classrooms Foundation (HCF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization led by a group of medical students at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, along with guidance from a professional Board of Directors. We are committed to integrating public health initiatives, such as fitness, nutrition, developmental health, and environmental responsibility, into Wisconsin's primary and secondary school systems. The Foundation supports educators with an initiative to invest in the sustainable development of healthy lifestyles and make their classrooms healthier places to learn.
